Had a chance at a giant eleven pointer but to much brush in the way. So I took this small doe for my 1st traditional kill with your bow. Thank you again for an excellent bow.
Thank you,

What a great hunting season. 2nd year using my 57lb slap stik I took the largest Pa. deer of my 43 years hunting. Opening day of season took this fine eight point, field dressing @ 200lb. I am the one on the right of photo and John Jones good friend and sportsman on left.
Thanks again for the great bow! Joel Gruver

Brian Halbleib, Editor/Publisher/Founder of Bowyers Journal Magazine, Florida Hunt
I hunted hogs just north of Lake City in Hamilton County, northern
Florida on July 22nd. The property we hunted on is owned by Mike Huston, a regular
contributor to the magazine. His friend Bubba brought up his hog dogs and they
entered one end of Mike's property and we entered the other. It didn't take
long before we heard the call from the dogs, signaling they had one located.
Upon arrival, I saw the dogs circling a clump of brush. I went in to investigate
and almost got ran over by a big boar. I side stepped him and got into position
to shoot. I drew my Striker Xtreme and released a 2-blade Magnus tipped cedar
arrow into the heart of the wild hog. It all happened so fast but it was exciting
from start to finish.
The next morning we traveled to the gulf side of Florida to chase some stingrays.
The wind, clouds and rain were against us at first but we did get a few breaks
of sunshine and calm seas to locate and shoot at plenty of stingray. The refraction
was completely different from the carp shooting I was used to doing in the north
so I missed most of the rays I shot at. But it didn't take long to get comfortable
and eventually we managed to connect. This was my first time bow fishing for
rays and I can tell you it won't be my last.
It was great to have a 54" Xtreme with me throughout the entire trip. Packing
an SUV with a weeks worth of beach survival gear for two adults and two little
girls leaves little in the way of room for longer bows. The compact Xtreme fit
nicely in the back of the SUV amongst the luggage. It also came in handy in
the tangles of the northern Florida landscape, allowing me to move freely without
getting hung up plus being able to shoot at will without much adjustment for
limb length in the thick stuff. The bow is way too pretty for a sea salt and
stingray blood covered fiberglass boat but it's compact size sure came in handy
again. No worries of limbs hitting seats or consoles while shifting into shooting
position as rays floated by. Everyone needs an Xtreme shorty in their collection...

I thought you might like to see some photos from Africa. The Striker TD definitely did its job! I took two bull Kudu, a Gemsbok, and a Klipspringer. Gemsbok and Kudu are big, tough animals, but penetration was never a problem. I was shooting Blackhawk Vapor carbons with 100 grain brass inserts and Wensel Woodsman broadheads. Total arrow weight was 572 grains.
I've been doing a lot of traveling with my bows and have come to really appreciate the convenience of a 3 piece TD. The Striker TD you made for me has become my go to bow. I love that thing. In a few weeks it will be accompanying me on a spot and stalk bear hunt in Idaho.
Thanks for building me a great bow on such short notice.
Best,
Ron
