STRIKER
BOWS
Information and FAQ's
Frequently asked questions:
How do I change
the brace height of my Striker Bow?
-
In order to change the brace
height of your Striker Bow, you need to unstring the bow by letting the
loop slip down the top limb of your Striker Bow and then detach the string
from the bottom limb. By twisting the bottom loop of your string tighter,
this will increase your brace height, doing the opposite will decrease your
brace height. Remember to always use a stringer to string and unstring your
bow. Any questions don't hesitate to call.
How long can I keep my Striker
Bow strung?
-
It's OK to keep your
Striker Bow strung at all times but we recommend that if you are not shooting
your bow on a regular basis or preparing to store your bow, it is wise to
unstring it.
Will the cold or heat effect
my bow?
-
The cold is not a threat
but heat is a big factor when it comes to your bow. Never leave any bow
in a hot car or confined space, even for a few minutes, as heat will damage
your bow.
When do
I need a new string?
-
Strings usually will last one
to two years depending on how often you shoot your bow. If your string shows
any kind of damage or wear, no matter how old it is, don't hesitate to replace
it. Better safe than sorry!
